Patient experiences of the non-emergency patient transport service

In late 2015 and early 2016 we carried out two patient surveys to gather feedback from people who use the non-emergency patient transport service.

The non-emergency patient transport service takes people, who meet certain criteria, to and from hospital appointments and treatment.

Healthwatch Coventry has been campaigning for better non-emergency patient transport for people who require kidney dialysis and other patients in Coventry as result of previous feedback we gathered. Therefore, we did a follow up piece of work to see how the service had progressed.

This report contains responses from West Midlands Ambulance Service and the organisation responsible for commissioning the service.
