Questions we have been asked

We received some questions from a member of the public who has used the service.

  1. Information we have received is that the on demand bus cannot go to the City of Coventry Health Centre. Is this the case? Response: we do go to the City of Coventry Health Centre, Stoney Stanton Rd, Coventry CV1 4FS
  2. Is there only one drop off and pick up point for University Hospital Coventry Warwickshire? Can you let us know where the drop off and pick up point is.  Response: There is one main drop-off and pick-up point at the end the bus stop area, at the opposite end of the bus stops from the roundabout. However it is possible for customers to be dropped and picked up from other specific locations if requested

Can I use this service to get to medical appointments?

Yes you can, but you need to make sure that you request an arrival time earlier than your appointment to ensure you are not late. When arranging a departure time, make sure you consider the possibility of your appointment overrunning (please note buses will not be able to wait any longer than a couple of minutes).

Cost of journey

This will now be based on distance rather than time of day.  There will be concessionary discount: under 18s, over 67s and those with a registered disability.
