Do you have a passion for NHS and social care services and our local population?

The Healthwatch Coventry Steering Group is central to what we do because it makes decisions about our work priorities and works for change to local NHS and care services based on what we hear from local people.

We want to make sure our Steering Group reflects the different Coventry communities and we value diversity.

Do these qualities sound like you?

  • A strong interest in and passion for citizens/patients being at the centre of improvements in health and social care
  • Commitment to equality and diversity and involving all Coventry citizens and communities
  • The ability to contribute to group meetings/discussions, listen to others and make collective decisions
  • Objectivity/impartiality - taking forward issues based on evidence and without personal agenda
  • Strategic thinking: looking for themes and issues rather than individual concerns; applying good independent judgement to discussions and decisions
  • Open to learning and development
