Give your views on Osteopathic Practice Standards

The General Osteopathic Council have launched a consultation of the Osteopathic Practice Standards and they would like to hear your views on whether the standards could be improved.  They welcome comments on all areas of the proposed updated Osteopathic Practice Standards, but are particularly interested in views on the following areas:

  • Combining the standard of proficiency, Code of Practice and four themes of the Osteopathic Practice Standards
  • Clarity around the duty of candour, consent, boundaries, notes and modesty
  • Osteopathic principles and philosophy
  • Roles of osteopaths in public health and in relation to other health professionals
  • The content of the standards and guidance
