The Healthwatch network is here to listen to experiences of health and care services. We work to make sure those who run and plan these and services hear what people say so that they can use this to improve care for everyone. We also help people to get the information they need to use NHS and care services. We operate in Coventry and are part of a network of 151 local Healthwatch in England.

Healthwatch Volunteer Co-ordinator (Ref HW-VC)

25 hours per week, £28,840 pro-rata per annum & 7% pension

Permanent contract

Volunteers are central to the Healthwatch Coventry approach. Join our team to develop our volunteer involvement by recruiting and supporting volunteers in different roles.

You will get on well with people; understand how to plan and support activities/pieces of work which involve our volunteers. You will make sure we capture evidence from local people of their experiences of health and care so we can use this to work for improvements and changes.

You will also be comfortable working in a small staff team where we work with each other to make sure we make a difference for local people.

Healthwatch Engagement and Outreach Co-ordinator (Ref HW-EOC)

Healthwatch is the independent champion for Coventry people for health and social care services. Help us to ensure that people’s views come first – especially those who find it hardest to be heard.  

You will be interested in local people, have the listening skills and creative thinking to design different ways to reach local people including those from less heard and diverse communities. You will have the ability to build relationships and be persuasive. You will understand how to organise your time and be able to collect, record and analyse information gained from local people about their experiences and views.
