Free winter supply of vitamin D for vulnerable people
The Government have announced that 2.7 million vulnerable individuals in England are to be offered a free winter supply of Vitamin D.

The advice from Public Health England is for everybody in the UK to take 10 micrograms (400 IU) of vitamin D a day between October and early March to keep bones and muscles healthy.
Anyone who is able to purchase a vitamin D supplement and start taking them now is advised to do so, even if you are also eligible for a delivery later in the year.
