Chief Executive of Coventry and Warwickshire Partnership NHS Trust, Simon Gilby, will retire in January 2021.
He said: “It’s been a huge pleasure and privilege to be part of the NHS for the last 37 years. I have been fortunate to work with many exceptional people.”
Chairman of Coventry and Warwickshire Partnership NHS Trust, Jagtar Singh, said: “I would like to take this opportunity to thank Simon for the contribution he has made over the last five years, serving the people of Coventry and Warwickshire. Under his leadership, we have made huge strides to improve the care and quality of services and patient experience, we have been rated good overall by the CQC, and we have achieved significant progress in how we engage with staff. Simon has ensured that we have built and maintained effective partnerships with our local health, social care, voluntary and community sector partners, including the leading work he has done in respect of our West Midlands partnerships. We are a trust respected both for what it does and the way it does it.
“We wish him a successful and fulfilling next stage to his life. To ensure continuity of service, we have begun the task of finding someone of Simon's calibre to build on the strong platform he has built and take on the leadership of the Trust next year”.
